Defender
This short little experience consists of you, Earth (or an Earth-like planet at least), have just come under siege, the barrage lasts only 60 seconds, so just survive for that long!
The way to survive is to build defenses, there are currently 2 types of buildings, the factory, and the laser turret. To build one, click on it at the bottom of the screen, drag around the planet and click again to confirm placement.
The factory will produce $6/s
The laser will fire at incoming alien ships, although the ships must be in its firing cone! Each laser has a firing cone of 60 degrees, that's 30 degrees in either direction.
Keep in mind that this project was completed, start to finish, in 6 hours, and as such there is a high chance for lots of bugs! If you find any, feel free to tell me!

This was a really exciting game! If anything, I would wish that the game continued afterwards, with greater waves or something. But a fantastic entry into the game jam.

Thanks a lot! Yeah I had planned to have it be an infinite game, where it would get harder every minute or something like that, unfortunately I just did not have enough time to implement that ;P That's what procrastination does I guess. Cheers!
